Marty Berman
Chairman and C.E.O.
Marty grew up in South Florida and spent his first ten professional years in New Jersey. He founded and sold a successful facility and safety consultation company in New Jersey before returning to Florida to found Berman Property Maintenance & Construction. His vast experience in the property maintenance and construction fields includes previous employment within the management teams of Fortune 500 companies, Non-Profit Housing Corporations and Private Real Estate Trusts. In addition, Mr. Berman has owned and managed successful start up companies in the professional business-to-business servicing fields. As a former elected official, Mr. Berman, is active in the political process as well as numerous community and charitable causes.
Gianni Amidoni
President and C.O.O.
Prior to merging with Berman Property Maintenance & Construction in 2007, Mr. Amidoni owned and operated Amidoni Construction Inc., one of central Florida's premier construction contractors. Mr. Amidoni oversaw an operation of over one hundred employees. Mr. Amidoni relies on best practice methodologies learned over lifetime in the construction and maintenance sectors. Mr. Amidoni directs all company's operations and is an equity partner.
Christine Proferes
Assistant Project Manager
As Assistant Project Manager, Christine joined Berman Property Maintenance and Construction with an extensive background in home repair and construction contracting. Ms. Proferes is responsible for client relationships, processing bids and scheduling/managing subcontractors for all construction projects occuring in the Northern Panhandle and the West Coast territories of Florida.
Prior to joining Berman, Christine was with Toll Brothers Inc, a Fortune 500 company, working for their Central Florida Division where she oversaw various aspects of new construction in addition to her role as Project Administrator. Prior to her time at Toll Brothers Inc, Christine was a successful Owner/Operator of an HVAC repair and installation company furthering her in depth knowledge of the commercial and residential repair markets.
Samantha Sharenow
Assistant Project Manager
Born and raised in New Jersey, Samantha relocated to Orlando, Fl in 2009 to become a part of the Berman Property Maintenance & Construction Team. In the role of Assistant Project Manager, Ms. Sharenow is responsible for broker relationships, managing sub contractors, processing bids, and scheduling construction trades for renovation projects throughout Central and Southern Florida.
In Ms. Sharenows previous role, she worked for a large New Jersey Irrigation Contractor where she was in charge of processing contractor bids, client relations and overseeing daily technician schedules, allowing her to gain knowledge in both the residential and commercial markets. For several years prior to that, Samantha worked as a human resource representative for the Target Corporation.
Ariel Christensen
Accounting Controller
Ariel joined Berman in 2010 and is currently Berman's Accounting Controller. Prior to this Ariel started in the Real Estate Services field as a Tenant Coordinator for Kimco Realty, a large national REIT. Ariel then joined the Orlando firm of Crossman & Company, as a Property Manager, managing over 2 million square feet of Publix and other large box tenant anchored retail shopping centers. For the last several years, she has worked for a Utah based real estate educational company, working directly for James Smith, a nationally known real estate speaker who has spoken on the same stage as the last five U.S. Presidents. Ariel actively participates and volunteers for local and statewide political campaigns and candidates.
